What is DotHalal Registry?
DotHalal Registry operates and manages the Generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) of DotHalal (.halal). It deals with Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), Domain Registrars, the government and all the matters concerning DotHalal (.halal).

What is DotHalal?
DotHalal is a Generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) that automatically refuses access and filters out all the unwanted material from our communication on the internet and insulate our families, businesses and society from inappropriate and corrupt practices that are harmful and unethically sound. 　

Why is DotHalal?
The internet has opened the doors of limitless opportunities to individuals, businesses and nations, and at the same vein it enables unscrupulously corrupted entrepreneurs to peddle inappropriate contents through the internet thereby exposing families to all kinds of indecencies and scams.

When is DotHalal Operatinonal?
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has finalized its long awaited plan to expand the Generic Top Level Domains (gTLD) for broader global internet participation. Generic Top Level Domains (gTLD) are namespaces such as .com, .org, .net, .gov., etc…Currently there about 22 of these Namespaces. DotHalal is to be in operation by 2013, after its approval from ICANN.

Who benefits from DotHalal?
Families, Halal/Ethical Entrepreneurs, investors, the online community, government regulators and the society at-large. The advent of the internet era has made men and women of intellect and creativity to come up with various Top Level Domain names including .com, .net, .org etc. Business houses, governments and families have further been introduced to installing software that may prevent the flow of immoral, corrupt and unethical traffic on the internet. Notwithstanding the efforts to install software that locks activities such as pornography, cyber bullying, radicalism recruitments, unsolicited mails from scam artists and offensive ads against one’s culture or religion, our society is still being susceptible to the same avoided trajectory and hence exposed moral decay in all ways.

DotHalal (.halal) is an inbuilt generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) Community that refuses access to inappropriate online contents without doubling the costs of the users by importing software. The latter has not helped society as evidenced by the prevalence of scams, pornography, juvenile delinquency and unethical business practices through the internet. Therefore, the creation and establishment of DotHalal is a true testament of the fact that we cannot be inventors of our own destruction and if you want to see a society where morals in business, families and society prevail, we invite you to join the DotHalal community.
